Gianluca Cosci is a Brussels-based visual artist working with found artworks, painting and photography.
After completing a BA in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Bologna he obtained Master degrees in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, and in Art and Design in Education at the Institute of Education, University of London
He obtained his Ph.D. in the Arts from LUCA School of Art/KU Leuven University in 2023 with a research entitled: The Denied Image: Art Interventions Between Iconoclasm and Institutional Critique. His interests focus on the various notions of iconoclasm and appropriative practices and their socio-political, visual and theoretical implications.
