Gianluca Cosci is a Brussels-based visual artist whose practice spans found artworks, painting, and photography.
He holds a BA in Painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Bologna, and Master’s degrees in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design (London) and in Art and Design in Education from the Institute of Education, University of London. In 2023, he earned a Ph.D. in the Arts from LUCA School of Art/KU Leuven University, with a research project titled The Denied Image: Art Interventions Between Iconoclasm and Institutional Critique.
His work explores the multifaceted notions of iconoclasm and appropriative practices, investigating their socio-political, visual, and theoretical dimensions.
